Community Standards

Every introduction on Mutually has someone’s name behind it. These standards describe how we expect members, and the people who describe them, to treat one another. This draft has not yet been reviewed by counsel.

Be who you say you are

• Use your real name, your own photos and your real age.
• Don’t pretend to be someone else, or describe someone you don’t know.

Be kind, and take no for an answer

• A decision not to go ahead is private and final. Don’t ask why, and don’t try to find out who said what.
• No pressure, harassment, threats or insults — in messages or in person.
• Don’t send sexual content, and don’t ask for it.

Keep things private

• What someone shares with you in an introduction is for you. Don’t screenshot, forward or post it.
• Don’t share anyone’s contact details, location or photos without their permission.

Meet safely

• Meet somewhere public, tell a friend where you’ll be, and make your own way there and back.
• You can leave at any time, for any reason.

No commerce, no recruiting

Don’t sell, promote or recruit for anything, and don’t ask for money.

What happens if these are broken

Anyone can block or report from any conversation. Every report is reviewed by a person within 24 hours. Depending on what happened, we may send a reminder of these standards, pause new introductions, or remove an account. Every decision is logged, and you can appeal.
