Being vouched for isn’t a safety check

The people who describe you speak to character. They carry no responsibility for anyone’s conduct — safety is our job. Every member is 18 or over and verified by phone, email and photo, but verification can’t tell you how someone will behave. Trust your own judgment, and take your time.

Meeting safely

• Meet somewhere public for the first few times — a café, a park in daylight, somewhere with people around.
• Tell a friend who you’re meeting, where, and when you expect to be home.
• Make your own way there and back, so you’re never relying on someone you’ve just met for a ride.
• Leave any time. You never owe anyone an explanation for going home.
• Keep it on Mutually until you’re ready. You don’t have to share your number, address or social profiles.

Block, report, leave

• Block from any conversation. They won’t be told, and they can’t reach you again.
• Report from any conversation or introduction. A person reviews every report within 24 hours, and every decision is logged.
• Leave whenever you like: pause introductions, or delete your account and everything with it within 30 days.
